Gametype Idea

So I was thinking of a new type of CTF game that’s also like Stockpile, but here’s the twist.
Here’s how it works:

Red and Blue team both have a flag that sit at there base giving them points, the point of the gametype is to take the other persons flag and prevent them from gaining any more points, this gametype would be called Tug-Of-War and both teams are trying to get to 100 points while trying to prevent the enemy from removing there flag to prevent them from gaining points.

Maps like Truth would be perfect for this type of gametype for its symmetry and such, as well as a few other maps.

What do you guys think?

Essentially the same thing as Stockpile, just it doesn’t score the same.
Somewhat interesting, only problem I see, is that it would have to be a very special map. The whole point of stockpile is to have the movement around the map to go and grab the flags at strategic locations, if your gametype comes to be, the locations of where they start would then transfer to whichever team got the flag. Meaning, less reason to actually move around the map. Whichever side has more flags, they can just camp their ‘score’ location.

That’s true >.< damn

Maybe something like the king of kill, where a flag is only worth a certain amount of points, like say ‘50’, and it disappears back to the location is came from.
So if it stays in your score location for 10 seconds, you got 10 points, but then the flag only has 40 left to keep, which means even if the other team gets it to their location, the most they can get is 40 from it. Or, it only lasts a total of 60 seconds after being taken from the spot? And you have to keep it on you score location to get score, but it still counts down when it’s stolen?

This reminds me of one of the battlegrounds in WoW.

Oh, okay. I haven’t played WoW in like… 6? years so Idk what that is

I kinda would like a new gametype to be introduced like this one into Halo 5, and a lot of there maps would be perfect due to size
