Guy on phone says to try to get in line by 9pm because it’s going to be a madhouse… I’m not standing out in the cold for 3 damn hours! It can’t take THAT long for them to get through the line, even if it’s long right? I will just stand in line for the hour or two it takes to get through…
It’s 8:30 here right now. If you want a parking space, you’d best leave early. My Gamestop is expecting 100+ people tonight.
They’ll probably have the game up to play and other things. I’m headed to mine right now
I hated showing up to Skyrim at 9:00. It was the longest three hours of my life waiting in that line.
Those lines do get big, though. Unfortunately, I’d recommend getting there early as well. Especially with it being Halo 4.

It doesn’t matter how many people are there, at least at my store, they close the registers when the store closes. They are just waiting until 12:01 to give you the game. if you don’t get the before the store closes, prove you paid the game off, and get your ticket, you’re not getting the game until tommorrow.
The gamestop I go to is literally a 2 minute walk from my house. Not to worried about getting stuck in a line. Either way you look at it it will take just as long if you go now or wait.
It’s 7:30 in Texas, and I’ve already been in line for an hour and a half.
every midnight release for games I have gone to (and I go to a lot) you can show up 5 mins before release and the line will go pretty fast. I’d say MW2’s was pretty long but in 30 mins after 12am i had the game. Even halo 3’s line was ultra long but got sorted through real fast.
I ordered the game online and I got it 12 hours early so I’m not complaining =) Maby you should do the same thing next time you pre-order a game.
My GameStop (keep in mind I don’t live in a big town), is going to have the game set up for people to play. When I went to the MW3 launch, everyone just played the game and then at around 11:45 we were asked to line up, but from 9:00 to that point it was just a big party, essentially.
What are you talking about? I can’t pay for it when I get to the front of the line? For MW2 I was able to do that at gamestop and best buy let me pay after midnight for Reach…

I called the store and they said 10 pm (in southern california). Ill probably go around 10:30, get my reciept and see what they have to offer. Knowing this store, there isnt going to be anything like what you guys are saying
