Hey guys! I’m a manager at gamestop and I just wanted everybody to know that the Halo 4 console has dropped down to 350$!
This was caused by the other new consoles which dropped in price today as well! I saw Amazon had dropped the price down to 350, so I was quite please Gamestop did too!

What are generally the reasons for the price cuts in this case?

You shall. You can actually get it back now, if you would like, or get it back when you pick it up on release. I’m in the same situation, no problems!

Usually it’s for one of tow reasons.
It’s the holiday season! Time to start cranking out those systems, what better way than to make the system cheaper? The new PS3 systems have been selling like hotcakes, so this is a great way to bite back.
A way to get as many systems out of stores, because a new system could very well be on the way …

Of course! In my postion, I have the it fully paid off (425?) but when I pick it up, it goes down to 375$, and it gives back the refund in cash or credit (However you paid)

But in all seriousness, it must have not updated yet. Relax.
I have that sucker payed off so that will be a nice in store credit in the pocket!

I really hope its true. My gamestop is closed at this time, nut I’ll ask them the next time I stop by. I could use the extra cash to pay off my map pass.
I hope it is true too. The GameStop site does not have any changes on the price, but if it is true it should be updated soon.

This actually happened a few months back. Went and got my $50 back.
A few weeks later, the price jumped again. I went back in to see if I needed to pay back the $50 again, but the manager here said it was still labeled as fully paid off. Now it’s back, and I’m glad others can grab the chance at the awesome piece.
I’m going to get my refund ASAP. This is great news! Thank you.
