As we all remember, the picture of the Hazop Forest skin armor was advertised to us to entice us to preorder from Gamestop. HOWEVER, the recent Voting system website (its another thread) has revealed that the Forest skin is usable only on Recruit armor!
we were shown images of the skin used on a different armor, now its for Recruit? What the hell?
I don’t care I love the recurit armor so I am using it. Also it could be a typo.
It needs to be available to use on all armors. Right now, I feel like it’s useless.
It might be a typo.They -Yoink- up on a lot of stuff but still it looks awesome and we get even more stuff if we preorder there now…

Exactly! why are we only getting to use these skins on restricted armor! I mean I have heard a few people preordering several copies of the game just to combine all the skins on varying armor. Now they know that they wasted their money even more on skins that can only be used on certain armors! (I am not one of those people but my friend is)
I mean it also cluttered the armory list as well, Why didnt they make sub menus for each armor to select skins rather than just making the overall lists longer by adding their variants directly underneath? It just baffles me!

Do you guys have in mind that if the armor is blocked. you only get the skin, but you will have to wait till unlock it?

all the more reason to make multi armor skins rather than locked ones.
also yes I thought of this right from the get go, which enraged me about the skins!

Nah. The skinned variants are their own set so preorder codes will probably unlock them right away.

It was probably just a placeholder. There are a few other skins that got their names changed too.
I understand ur frustration with this although I won’t really be wearing either of those armors what made me the maddest was the fact that LE preorders are getting everything 343 told us we would be getting. Take the fotus for example ,although i don’t care for the helmet, we were suppose to get it with LE edition but no they had to change it and make it to were we can only get it by getting the whole console. So we won’t be seeing that armor much unless someone just loves it enough to buy the console or 343 does something gay and makes it to were exclusive stuff can be obtained through XBL. That was something that really grinded my gears but I love halo so much that I will overlook these stupid mess ups by 343.

Still if they dont adress these advertising issues, than people are going to get really mad when they cant find a Forest skin for their Recruit armor even though they said they would get that.
