Gamestop cancelled AC3 midnight launches.

According to this article posted by Kotaku, GS locations in the North East regions are not holding midnight launches for AC3, and it’s been confirmed. http://kotaku.com/5955901/gamestop-cancels-all-midnight-openings-for-assassins-creed-iii-in-the-northeast

What does this have to do with Halo? If Sandy continues to cause damage, Halo 4 might see the same result. Sandy has already flooded many parts of the NE, and there are several bridges that are under water as seen in various news pictures. It’ll be a miracle if the shipments of Halo 4 make it.

Are you guys worried?

I’m more worried about myself and others. As much as I want AC3 and Halo 4, i’m just going to get it when the time is right.

Stay safe my friend. Bunker down till the -Yoink!- passes. Better safe than sorry.

they made the right choice.

The Gods have spoken

I hope you are able to stay safe and get it

If conditions aren’t much better next week, I agree, this could be a blow to Halo 4’s launch sales. Of course timing has it that BO2 comes out another week later, so everything will be better… And yes, everyone’s safety is more important. That goes without saying.

I wouldn’t worry about it too much. So long as people can get their copies before the 20th of November, and unlock the six Specializations they could have gotten earlier if it wasn’t for that damn hurricane, it should work out just fine. Minus flood damage and casualties of course…stay safe.

I’m glad I’m in the UK.

They canceled it because the storm will be happening during the release, no other reason

Glad they did I’m watching the news right now and it is pretty bad. My friends who live on the East Coast were on MSN and they’ve lost power. Halo 4 can wait. Be safe Halo 4 East members!

Midwest Ho!

I live in the pacific Northwest, so I don’t have any problems here. Better safe than sorry though.

I would never put my self at risk just for a video game.

A human life > AC3/COD/Halo

Honestly, by the time Nov. 6th comes I think we will be able to be at midnight launch for Halo 4.

But there will be people without power still who won’t be able to play the game. South Jersey is destroyed.

PFT! Sandy’s literally a breese compared to what we get annually down here in Louisiana!

jk
On a serious note: sucks, I feel sorry for all those waiting to kick some 18th century butt. most likely that wont happen to halo, stay safe guys.
