Just starting the topic here for discussion. Xbox Studios has the floor today at Gamescom 2021. There is a high probability that Halo will at least be on the stage at some point. Do you think we will get lucky today with any ground breaking information?

I’d be really surprised if we got a glimpse at forge. You’ve seen the on-going reaction to it being delayed here on the forums. My guess is they’ll want to steer as clear of that topic as possible for now. The last thing they want is the reaction of “wow that looks awesome, too bad we have to wait an extra 6 months before it even makes it into the game because they don’t know what they’re doing,” or something along those lines. Which, let’s be honest, those topics would almost certainly pop up.
Release Date, Next Flight Date, Campaign Gameplay is what I’m looking for. I’ll take any of the three and be content with it. I’ll be working though so I’ll have to watch it on YouTube or something.
Release Date Next Flight Date
You know, a week ago, I would’ve guessed just a new trailer and release date. But given the recent news, I think there’s a chance we get a glimpse of something a bit more substantial. Like a new flashy game mode or something along those lines. Something to try and drown out the noise over the delay to co-op and forge. I still wouldn’t put money on it, but I think the odds are a bit higher.
Hopefully a release date.

It will almost all be about halo wars 3, and a statement that infinite won’t be having firefight also.

I’m massively excited for whatever announcements are coming, but I’m already concerned that Halo is bait that Microsoft’s using to keep me watching nonsense that I don’t care for, for hours.
