Halo infinite on gamescom 2018?
Sadly no. If I had to guess, we’re not gonna be seeing any real info or gameplay for quite a while.
Gears 5 had a full-blown trailer and didn’t have a release date at E3. If anything, we’d see something concrete for that game before Infinite.
Highly unlikely, If anything the next trailer release would be either this years Game Awards, if 343 was planning on releasing an early beta in early 2019. Or it would be next years E3.

Best assumption is that we may see some sort of Beta teaser
E3 was early June. Gamescom is August. In 2 months, I doubt any significant headway into Infinite’s development would have taken place, at least not enough to show something. I don’t personally expect to hear any Infinite updates until early 2019.
Microsoft has said they plan to present new games and new Xbox hardware accessories at Gamescom.

Ehhh 2 months is more than enough time to throw together a trailer. Warframe managed to do it with their ship combat update. (The name of the update is escaping me) Of course I don’t know if 343 has finished making all of their assets in their new engine. So who knows when we’ll see or hear anything.

Maybe not on the scale of E3 but even now we’re getting official news sometimes like who is currently working with 343i on Infinite but news is slow, it is possible we might get some news since we’re due to eventually find out when Infinite’s ‘flight’ will start since that shouldn’t effect the development of the campaign since it’s mainly used to check that the multiplayer works, is balanced, it’s possible that we might several of these like the MCC has been doing.
Plus Bonnie Ross did day this a while back “There is so much we learned with the Halo 5 beta. There is actually stuff we took from our Master Chief Collection - learnings that we were able to put into the beta. Going forward, you will never see a Halo game coming out without a beta.”
Am I the only one noticiing ever since E3, more information about Halo Infinite has been coming out once a week or every couple of weeks?
In hoping for something at gamescom or pax or rtx. Those would be our last chance for the year to hear something big.

We have no idea where 343i is with the development of Halo Infinite. As for Warframe and the two updates due, the updates are well into their development cycles, we know the Venus open world is this year and Railjack is to follow at some point. Both look like they’ll be amazing I might add.
If I’m honest I’m concerned about Halo Infinite. The E3 showing was just an engine demo, a very good one, but just an engine demo. For all we know Halo Infinite could be several years away. Adding that to time elapsed since Halo 5 launched is quite worrying. Many fans including me will have been thinking they would be well into development by now.
Maybe some little vague news but my guess is nothing substantial till next year.

What news? All I’ve heard is that they now have a co develooer
If anything, they will show us something else they have up their sleeve. We’re not even sure if Infinite is a full blown game (getting into some rabbit hole stuff here) yet.
Maybe an announcement on the predicted scheduling for the Halo show on Showtime, or a breakdown of the plot.

No battle royale was announced right after the reveal and that’s 3 things that aren’t really that big and doesn’t necessarily mean they are listening
Nah. No trailer till e3 2019 for possible release in fall 2019

The way it’s looking I might be comfortable betting on a 2020 release unfortunately,it seems like they spent most if not all of the time since halo 5 released on the new engine
I’d say no. If I had to guess the earliest we’d see something new would be at the game awards in December. If not there then probably e3 2019
As everyone else has said, don’t get excited. It’s still probably a ways off.

I would say the main problem in all of this is the fact that they showed the engine demo in the first place. Sure it confirmed a few things like bringing the old art style back but overall did nothing. If they had done something like what gears 5 did, it would’ve been way better. It would’ve shown that 343 has been working on the game and given the fans a sort of progress report on the state of the game. At least showing that the game was in fact being made.
All 343 left us was more questions than answers.
