One thing I liked to do at the beginning of the week was to take off the initial challenges playing against bots to take it easy and focus on the ones that are exclusively PVP. Now I just tried a game against bots to complete a challenge of getting 2000 points accumulated in a game of deathmatch and I have not been counted.
Can someone confirm if the challenges have now been restricted to PVP only? Because if so, it would be seen as an error and an unnecessary change that no one has asked for.
I don’t know if this helps, but playing against bots only works for grey challenges I think.
Indeed, I was trying to complete a challenge in gray to accumulate 2000 points in deathmatch and it did not count. That is why my question arises and I would like to know if there is someone else who is the matter, because the rest of the challenges in gray are in ranked games.
I know if the challenge says PvP its non-bot. Other than that, bots usually are ok for some of the earlier challenges. I noticed the higher ones, tend to lean on PvP or like BTB.
Bummer if this is true. I understand that playing against bots for rewards is a little annoying, but considering how intense the PvP playlists are currently, there really isn’t a great, laid back playlist to hop into to try to check off challenges presently. I feel like a lot of the frustration around people playing to complete their challenges rather than to win has been at least a bit mitigated by allowing for some of these to be achievable in the Bot playlist.

It was a good way to save time and get the weekly challenges completed in a fair and balanced time. Now without being able to remove 4-5 initial challenges in a day to be able to concentrate the rest of my time on the other challenges, I do not know if I will have time to obtain the weekly reward. We will see what happens throughout this week.
Perhaps now that we are going to have playlists focused on specific modes, the challenges will be completed faster. Question of testing it.
