Ever since the last update, my game freezes at the main menu, and I have to restart it at least once, sometimes twice. There are also more hiccups in the connection during skirmishes, both online and off. Anyone else notice this?
I get that too. Oftentimes I have to restart the game three times before I can play it.

i exsperience this issue where the screen turns dark and the notification GUI becomes unresponsive in the background myself.

Mine freezes, but the music keeps going
I get a blue screen of death crash when I go to load a save or continue or start a multiplayer match. I have done all normal fixes and I did a reinstall. I have redone all drivers for gpu and WSReset.exe and all other troubleshoots. I noticed the windows 10 update on the 17th might be the cause. I also just put in a second gpu for SLI but i turned that off also and still nothing… Lost ability to play this and Gears of War 4. Gears will not even load or show anything… halo wars 2 will atleast load into the menu…
I think the last update or windows 10 update on the 17th is the reason but I dont know for sure. Blue screen of death that says bad spooling code or stop error code even after redownloading and installing the game after reboot. I have tried everything and I mean everything. Contacted MS support and not much help… I just get the same old troubleshoot fixes but I guess what can they do. Only thing left is to wait or do clean install of window os or fresh start or something but I hate loosing all my other working games on MS store. Plus the time to download 500g worth of games takes a week for me.

I’m on xbone, so I’d guess it was the game update. But it is Microsoft, so it could just be multiple problems on multiple platforms lol
I did a clean install of windows 10 itself and resintalled all my drivers gpu drivers etc etc… Redownloaded Halo wars 2 from scratch again for the 8 time and when I run it and go to load a game save or multiplayer match I still get the blue screen of death crash. It says stop code error. Its a big error thats to do with cpu I’m guessing. I dont know i am no expert I just know the windows 10 update and or this game update bricked the game for me. If clean install of my OS and redownload and install of game doesnt fix then what the heck man… Isnt it obvious.?? am i wrong or what. The error code literally says nothing on the blue screen except stop code spooling code loss or error. I dont know exactly what it says but its like 3 words long and when you look it up online its even more vague. I give up… Been working on this for weeks now… RTS or MMO strategy games like these are my fav… this one was my fav… Ive been yelling on top of a mountain trying to get MS attention of this…
