Gamertag Change - Problem

About 3 or 4 days ago I changed my gamertag, but instead of Halo: Reach updating my gamertag it still thinks I am using my old one.

Now what is even more annoying, some kid took my old gamertag and he plays Halo: Reach. So now the game thinks that there are two people with the same gamertag. I have tried making custom challenges, but they are now assigned to my old gamertag which the other person has.

This is one of the many reasons that I highly dislike Reach. Halo 3 updated my gamertag after playing one game and as for ODST, I didn’t even have to play it for my gamertag to update.

Is there anything that can fix this or do I just have to deal with a “broken” game?

Never heard of that happening to someone.

It may just be a glitch.

You need to contact Xbox Live support instead. If you have twitter you can reach them @xboxsupport.

I contacted Xbox LIVE support and they could not help me since the Halo: Reach servers are the problem.

The problem is the save file is assigned to your old gamertag.

Wow this is an old thread. How long did it take to finally change over?
