Hi guys, last time I changed my GT all my stuff on here got messed up and it detected me as a new user and it reset all my details. Posts, thanks, etc…
does it still do that? I want to change it again but I don’t want to lose my credentials on here either.
It shouldn’t do, if it did that in the past, it was an extremely rare one-off error, I’ve changed my name from The Little Moa to Swift Moa, back to The Little Moa, all within a space of a week, and I still have all my forum statistics.
When you change it, it will take a few days to catch up on your forum name (it will keep switching to your new one and then back to Natasatchaa), but eventually, it will stick to your new one.
Okay, I did it. We’ll see what happens.
Also, it was when the forums were beta. Buggier back then, so maybe that was the reason.
Yeah I changed my xbox name and lost all my stuff. In fact… My past names are still listed on this site oddly enough. Its dumb. One has halo wars on it. The other is halo 2 and 3 and odst. My current has the rest. Makes no sense. Why make a new account for each name change!?

It was an error with the beta forum software, doesn’t happen any more.
Unless you’ve changed your name recently and the same happened?
