Gamerscore from Halo Wars: DE Not Counted

On April 11, I had exactly 15,695 Halo gamerscore on my profile. Since then, I’ve gained exactly 435 gamerscore in Halo Wars Definitive Edition on PC. However, my gamerscore has only increased to 15,725, meaning it’s only gone up 30 gamerscore (and that’s 30G that I got in HW2 last week). So is gamerscore from HW DE not supposed to be counted? Or is this a bug?

It’s a known issue which has been being looked at for a while. At present no HWDE stats are tracked on here at all. There’s not even a service record page for it (or original HW).

Has anyone ever mentioned any plans on fixing that? It’s a bit annoying, there’s not much point of having a Gamerscore counter when the number isn’t accurate anyway.

Mentioned yes (or at least investigating): detailed plans, no.

Ah, well hopefully they fix it soon, because I just beat it on legendary thinking that the gamerscore would count (:

The game first went out to HW2 preorders in… December 2016? I highly doubt it will happen soon.

Halo Wars 2 achievements already count though. I said in my original post that I gained 30G from playing HW2.

And December 2016 was nearly 3 years ago. Hell, the OG Halo Wars came out over a decade ago and apparently that doesn’t count yet either…

My point was only that HWDE has been out longer than since it was ‘released’ in April 2017. But still… chances of it being prioritised 2+ years after the game came out: don’t count on it.

Original Halo Wars had its own tracking site which was taken down a while back due to the difficulties of keeping it up because of aging technologies and new legislation in some territories.

Because that separate site existed though Waypoint wasn’t ever designed to have functionality to support it - which may be where the difficulties lie.

Yeah I understand that. I’m not worried about the service record though, in this post I was just referring to gamerscore (and, by association, achievements). Those could just be tracked directly through Xbox, no?

Not knowing how the API works, can’t say. All the games with tracked gamerscore have achievements tracked in the service record. May be a coincidence… may be needed.

If it was as simple as you suggest then I would have thought it would have already been implemented long ago

I’ve started playing Halo Wars DE and I noticed this issue too. I guess there’s still no ETA for a fix?

Doesn’t look like it. I’ve since gotten all the achievements in the game (1500G) and my gamerscore on Waypoint hasn’t updated.
