Are you an avid Halo enthusiast? Do you love to forge or play customs? Are you a new halo player or a veteran? Do you love to drive mongooses, warthogs or none at all? Do you like to fly? How about Campaign or firefight? Whatever it may be there is a place for you in the International Gamers Invitational. This will be an ongoing project that will hopefull bring together the global fury that is the halo universe. We all love halo, and we all want to be the best. I know there are a lot of people out there that have YouTube channels and different communities that are trying to bring together specific groups of people. We all play the same game so why not showcase your skill in your field.
Gamers Invitational is an event based organization that will allow people to engage in competitions on a monthly basis on maps submitted by the community, reviewed by other parts of the community and ultimately played throughout.
The importance in connecting all of us is so that we grow. I have learned through my experiences online that people tend to stick to what they like. If we bring together all good things in halo: the people, the amazingly creative maps, and our unique sensibility towards progression, our development into Halo 4 will be outstanding.
I want to bring together all the great people and things in halo. Heres the take.In the very near future we will hold competitions that range from slayer, objectives games, big team, doubles, free for all, minigames, challenge maps, time trials, etc. A webpage will be devoted to the preparation and organizing of events. as well as on FaceBook. We figured since Halo is an international game, in each event or series of events, whether it be race, or a tournement style slayer BTB, the teams would aqcuire points for wins and another example would be top 3 racers would get points respectively. Teams would represent their respective country or region therefore winning events and challenges (following a schedule)would add to the countries total points (if for example there is a lot of participation from the US and Canada , we might take states and provinces as the region. Top ranking teams will be highlighted quarterly and prizes will be awarded to winning regions and people who ranked top in their region. If there is enough participation then the scale of the event calander will obviously grow. This is still a work in progress and we hope to have a website up where we will be posting scheduled events and signup info.
We really hope that all those people already involved in customs will not only bring their skill, but maps, and creativity, We love discovering new and emmerging talent. Help us and support us by liking and subscribing to us. If you dont subscribe you might not remember to check back with us when we come out with new content. We appreiciate your support and if you could tell your fellow halo friends about these upcoming events, so that you can represent your country along with them, that would be awesome! The more events you enter the better chance you have at gaining points. We will meet a lot of people a long the way and I am excited about that. I seriously cant wait guys and I wouldn’t mind your feedback. If there are people who want to help become a bigger player in this movement. Let me know on Youtube and on Facebook.
Sorry for this message being so long. I really just needed to convey the ultimate goal so that people can prepare and give their insight. I think if we all work together (all the people who review maps, submit maps and play on maps) then our outcome and success together will be greater.
Thanks for listening guys
Please feel free to leave a comment in the thread. All the insight would be helpful!
Deepest Regards
