They may not be perfect still, but they’re extremely better than the ones we saw in the gameplay demo.
Edit: The AR imagine was posted onto the r/halo discord, with no verifiable source, therefore it may not be accurate unlike the second imagine, but the brute gun image shows that the guns were not finished by the time the demo was shown but 343 has a newer and more polished version of the game, and are actively working on the graphical department of their game.

The brute gun is a photo from the one minute trailer they posted to their youtube during the show.
The other one was posted to the r/halo discord, so there’s a small chance its not legit, but the brute gun shows the guns in the demo weren’t entirely finished.
The images look stunning, much more like what we saw in the E3 reveal all that time ago. If they are indeed from an updated video, I’m curious why the demo used for the reveal uses so many old assets. Perhaps because they are not in the studio, 343i had to use a backup demo since they did not have all the necessary resources to create an updated one.

This is my suspicion as well. Quite a shame they couldn’t put their best foot forward but I guess with the whole shift to remote work it was inevitable if they prepped ahead of time
Bro the first screenshot was an edit from a reddit user, stop spreading false information. But yes the second picture is a comparison to the recent trailer.
I think the first shows how adding some different filters / changing some contrast saturation etc could quickly fix some of the weirdness of the graphics
interesting stuff, did the sprint made it up to that ponit?, i hope not, but i doubt ther will remove the hook, i mean, is present in the official covert art

The brute gun was ripped straight from both the live demo, and the 1 minute trailer from their youtube, with no edits. The AR one may very well not be real, That’s why I responded in a comment saying “The other one was posted to the r/halo discord, so there’s a small chance its not legit, but the brute gun shows the guns in the demo weren’t entirely finished.”

I looked into the source and yes, it appears fake, and I apologize. But the brute gun image shows that 343 has a newer build and is actively working to make them look better, so not all is lost in terms of the graphical department of infinite.
That second photo is blatantly Photoshop. First of all, its obviously a screencap of the demo video itself… So, I mean, there’s no possible way its somehow some “more recent footage.” Even then, the scratches on the AR are obviously painted on in something like photoshop, the cuts and marks don’t flow with the shape of the gun in any way, nor they adhere to any of the principles would you typically be following when creating actual textures in a program like substance. Third, the Depth of Field is painted on. It’s distancing and focal point is inconsistent. Highlighting the gun and the foreground, but the background behind the trees on the left remain untouched, and areas around the tree near the middle sharpen the background behind it, and the tree barely poking above the gun is hit with the DoF, despite being closer.
Sad that people have to pander so hard to create misinformation.

If it was from not being able to be in the office they should at least tell us
this could end all the questioning about it and we can move on
