Gamepass ultimate subs/monthly halo infinite perks

Microsoft has announced that Xbox Gamepass Ultimate subscribers will get exclusive access to monthly rewards in Halo Infinite, as part of the Xbox Gamepass Ultimate Perks program. This program gives Xbox Gamepass Ultimate subscribers unique in-game bonuses and perks.

I am certainly excited about this news as I have Xbox Gamepass Ultimate subscription and wanted to hear what others are thinking.

I’m definitely excited about it. Nothing like getting rewarded for a subscription I would have had the whole time anyway.

This was actually announced way back in the Inside Infinite September article - I’m very surprised people are only just seeing this now in the Xbox Blog from last week.

I’m not too surprised to be fair, GamePass is going to be a great way for players to jump on board with Halo Infinite and even gives players a little something extra for their membership too.
I imagine it’ll be some small stuff such as Challenge Swaps & XP boosts. Maybe a weapon coating here and there

Now these benefits from being a subscriber to GamePass will as well work if you are playing the physical disk correct and not just the digital free play version, that I am guessing will be in GamePass library?

My understanding is that you have the xbox game pass ultimate subscription for the halo infinite perks, I do believe you can buy xbox game pass or xbox game pass for pc which doesn’t offer the perks. Maybe someone can clarify.

Yes, you’ll be able to to use the perks with a physical copy of the game
