Gamemode with revives (idea)

We know that the mechanic to revive is in the campaign for fallen AI teammates but could it ever be introduced in multiplayer. I think it would be pretty cool to add this feature in its own playlist that would allow for this mechanic to be use. I would love a serious gamemode like breakout but with revives. I would also like teamwork to be a huge role.

We will see if 343 would add this mechanic to their own gamemode or to and existing one. I think the option for custom games should at least be there. I would love to play customs that allow this is competitive play.

As a fan of Freeze Tag in Quake Live this could be a sensible way to incorporate it into Halo.

Imagine competitive paintball (halo 4 plasma pistols) with revives. So hype.

No.

Maybe as a setting in custom games at least

I would prefer it be limited to action sack like games only. It is not a competitive feature nor should it be, this is not BF4.

I agree, nothing competitive. I’m all for adding in tons of features, but only as options.

I also hope they add the third person mode they use to test the game every so often in the sprint, and ducking behind cover like the AI in campaign. Just as an optional feature for customs/action sack. People could practically make an entirely different game in halo.

Destiny has gamemodes that cuts the teams in half but allows you to revive fallen allies. I think it’d be a cool take on doubles.

Reminds me of Gears. The only way I could see it working is to make the downed person basically invincible, as in not being able to get shot to be killed. Then either they bleed out, or get meleed or assassinated. Again, I’m just taking this from a Gears game mode, so it would not really work with Halo…

Sounds too much like Destiny, if done wrong. However, if it’s done correctly, I could imagine this being a cool gamemode.
