[Gamemode Variant Suggestion] King of the Hill - Tug of War

Let me just start out by saying that I absolutely love the change from point collection to point bank charging in King of the Hill. I feel that it’s much better for the game mode and is a lot more balanced overall. That being said, I was thinking of the Dodgeball Variant of Attrition and how getting kills earns back your team lives in that mode, and I thought that it would be interesting to bring that into King of the Hill.

Enter: Tug of War
Tug of War is a 3 round variant in which both teams fight over the hill in a effort to win 2 of those rounds. It has a longer bank charge than regular KotH and the twist of the game mode is that charging your bank also discharges your enemies bank, effectively stealing it from them. I can see this playing very interestingly with Points of Interests. (Say Rockets Spawn on Streets?)

Personally, I imagine a smaller scale map in which you have an outer section which houses spawns, weapons, and equipment, but then you have the inner section [which acts as the main arena] and houses weapons, cover, power items, and the the hill.

Unfortunately, I can’t make this game mode come to life (outside of forge scripting which I have no idea how to do) within the current game mode settings, and tho I have played around with a map and Stronghold test build, it doesn’t play with the same tension I would like to achieve.

Please consider making this dream a reality for me; I would appreciate it endlessly.
