Hey, all, hope 343i and the community at large could see this, and hope it hasn’t been previously asked for: is there any way we could get an option when making a gamemode to spawn with no weapons? For a ton of party gamemodes, having the option to remove weapons from spawning with you as a player would give us so much more variety in what we could do.
Either way, having an additional option couldn’t hurt in any way, so as long as it wouldn’t be too hard to code in, and the party gamemode potential could be incredible! I know back in the old days we had at least a few “hacked gamemodes” that gave players the ability to spawn without holding weapons, and having that be an official option would be great.
I think this is a good idea. Off the top of my head, I know it would be helpful for anyone trying to forge their own BR modes too.
This should be a default option by now.

It really should be.
This would’ve been great to of had for modes like Teacher and Cops & Robbers.
Imagine making a Halo RPG in Forge.
Well, what prompted me was back in Reach, a group of buddies and I made a gamemode where we had no weapons, proximity chat, and random spawns. We made a bunch of bases with a bunch of weapons hidden around, and we used all of Forge World. It was fun because we would split into factions and make little alliances that could be forged or broken at any time. It was really neat because with the proximity voice it felt like little local radio comms, and with the lack of starting weapons, it gave an incentive not to immediately shoot at people! Really neat experience, haha, but beyond that, I know there were plenty of party games like Cops and Robbers that would benefit from it as well.
