My halo wars 2 is crashing after the August update, it used to run just fine before the update, after the update it crashes immediately at startup.
My troubleshooting steps so far on windows 10. It, however, runs fine on my xbox one s.

  1. Updated windows and Nvidia drivers
  2. Reinstall the game
  3. Rebooted the pc
  4. Reset the app data of the game
  5. Try logging out and in
  6. Reset windows store via cmd

None of these solved the issue

Here is my pc config

i7 6700k
gtx 1080 SLI on Nvidia 385.28 (it crashed also on 384.xx drivers)
32 GB ram

Okay disabling sli fixed the issue, but that means the new update has a broken sli support.

Passing this off to the config lab. Is your Operating system crashing with this? or is it just the game?
