Im experiencing an issue with the game where it takes 5 minutes to load and then freezes as soon as I get past the main menu. It does this for a few minutes, let’s me scroll around, and then freezes again when I try to play or load content. I am playing on Xbox One X, and I and super frustrated at this point. I have tried hard resetting, removing local save data, and etc. I have just been trying to avoid a fresh install. Any suggestions on how to resolve this would be much appreciated. Also, is anyone else experiencing this issue?
I experience a minor freeze whenever a match starts but nothing like you are going through. Sadly since you tried hard resetting the only suggestion I have is to reinstall the game.
Update: I tried a fresh install to no avail. Every time I try to access a games campaign or maps to play the games freezes for a few minutes. It’s almost like the game gets stuck trying to load the content. I got ODST to load. It froze when pressing play for a couple minutes, then the countdown worked, and then it went to a black screen through the whole opening crawl of ODST. I honestly don’t know what to do at this point. I just want to play my game.
Have you checked to see if you experience the same issue with another game? If it’s only the MCC it could be a server issue in which case you can only wait until it’s fixed. I can understand your frustration level especially after a fresh install. I always wait a day or two when I’m experiencing issues with MCC just to avoid reinstalling the beast. I’ve noticed the MCC can be a “hurry up and wait” type of a game for the rectification of issues. I hope for a resolution quickly for you. I’m honestly thinking you’re just getting hooked up to a bad server and it’ll be fixed soon.
