Game with error in microsoft store

I’m having trouble downloading from a Microsoft store, since it updated, it gave an error and now or the game doesn’t open, and the error every time I try to download again.

Hi, I’ve been having the same issue pretty much soon after the last patch.

If I install Halo: MCC fresh it will launch and run for me (When I’ve cleared all traces of it from my system as far as I can find)
I can open and close the game as many times as I like, but as soon as I restart the PC, the game will no longer launch and tells me Halo: MCC is “offline” / “unavailable”.
I have my Windows 10 Pro OS installed on an SSD, and a secondary bigger SSD which is set up for games.

I’ve seen you and one other person having exactly the same issue, so it doesn’t seem popular which is concerning.

This happened on my initial Windows installation and a fresh install as well where I’ve replaced both SSD’s with different ones, so it’s not a hardware issue.
Every time I want to play Halo: MCC I literally have to clear all traces from my system again, and redownload from scratch every time I want to launch it after a reboot.

Repair / Reset through Windows 10 settings doesn’t resolve anything, after a reboot the game automatically gets set to “Repair” in the Windows Store and says it needs to be re-downloaded. It doesn’t re-download fresh though and uses the cached file stored in D:\DeliveryOptimization\Cache\003242c723d95d40fd7bae6e2a84b7fbcdef9af7 unless you delete the files in this folder, which I must do otherwise it won’t launch after “re-download”.

I don’t know how this started, as it was working fine for me since December, and all of a sudden the game just isn’t working for me, even as I said on a brand new fresh installation.

Extremely frustrating, Microsoft has refused to give me a refund for the time being even though the game no longer functions, fingers crossed for the next update doing something for my situation.

Same issue here, freezes at different points in the installation and says couldn’t be connected to service. If only I’d bought it on steam, what a joke.
