Game winning kill-cam

I think it would be cool if Halo 4 had a game winning kill-cam. It would only be at the end of a match, unlike in Call of Duty where you get a kill-cam after every kill/death. I just think it would be a cool way to feel cool when you get an awsome final kill. And Halo has a lot more cool possibilities for kills then Cod, so we could get some really awsome final kills.

I also think it should only be in the social playlists. The other playlists should be left alone. Anyways, I am sorry if this thread has already been made. So what are your guys opinions on this?

It don’t sound like a bad idea but think about how the kills in halo are no gamewinning kill looks good with 2 Spartans running around in circles jumping up and down trying to melee lol

People trying to 360 of buildings possibly costing you the game.
No.

This does worry me. It would be awesome to see the game winning kill though.

Umm, No. To me, the concept of a game winning Kill cam is good on paper, but what’s the point? Halo has Theater first off. So the only real reason to have it is to give the person who got it a video game stiffy about a ,most likely, lack luster kill.

Basically it would have no purpose besides just to let the winner show off in a rather obnoxious manner, even if the winner does not will it.

I would like to see this but with more of a twist.

Like a gun view that transitions to the actual bullet that makes the final kill. This can also be applied to any other method of dispatching a foe.

I wouldn’t like to see a blatant copy of COD but something a little different.

In halo you can get 1 kill over score if two people kills a person on the exact same time. Ect 26, 51, 76. Problem?

Come On ! Let´s not go to choose same path than COD. Yea I know Cod taked halos Theather mode to the MW3 but it´s better if 343 industries are more " An Independence"(like BUNGIE) Plus Why to take kill camm into the game when people like me, Laught They äss off When I see my own spartan getting killed by sticky grenade or My damäss team mate who driving The Warthog and kill´s everyone funny splattering . AND BELIVE ME No-one want´s to miss funnyest parts of the game and only you see this all happening because You´re lying on the ground into your corpse Or. . You just died at near The highly powerfull explosion and your body is flying throught the air and, finnaly landing head first On The ground and Thats funny … My point is let´s use our OWN ideas, Instead of copying stuff from ANOTHER GAME!

No

Killcamm … And Social play list . . . Well That . . Exsuly may works. because I miss Halo 3 playlist´s (Ranged / Social - Playlists) Becuase In reach You can´t do stuff
like in halo 3

So long as we also get those precious few post-game seconds where we can betray teammates and -Yoink!- and do our victory dances, I’m okay with this.

That is why it will only be in social playlists.

Umh I would it put only in the MLG playlist if there is one. If someone needs this, it’s them, because they have the viewers and it would be a very nice idea for a tournament.

No, just no. Something like that may work with Call of Duty, but I do not think it fits Halo’s style of play. Besides, if you really want to see the final kill, going to theatre is always an option.

The people who play in social playlists are just playing for fun, and I think this just adds another element of fun to their casual atmosphere. Just imagine : driving a warthog, someone shoots a rocket at you, your car fly’s into an enemy.
That person will feel awesome when everyone on his team / the other team is forced to watch his amazing luck.

Do you know what Social is? It’s the set of playlists which you go to when you feel like driving round trying to get Mongoose splatters, or only using Assassinations, or launching your vehicle across the map with fusion coils - in short, where you go to stick two fingers up at stats and competitive gameplay and do whatever the f**k you feel like doing. People going for ridiculously-styled final kills would fit right in.

The point of the final killcam is to bring the entire lobby together for a few happy seconds of laughing at some guy’s epic win or huge fail. Backing out of Matchmaking, going into the lobby and fast-forwarding for 5 minutes to watch the last kill by yourself… not the same thing. It’s the difference between cracking open a beer in the middle of a party and sitting at home on your own, sipping a lager.

And my main points were that I don’t it works with Halo’s style and will most likely look like a cheap gimmick. Because not everyone will want to watch the final kill, I also do not think they should be made to; for those who do, theatre is always an option as I mentioned earlier.

I’ve already explained why Theater is in no way any sort of alternative to Final Killcam, so kindly stop bringing up already-refuted points.

Also, some people don’t want it? Some people don’t want a campaign. Some people don’t want good graphics. Some people don’t want Forge or Theater. Some people don’t want Social playlists. Some people don’t want Halo 4 to be made at all. If game development decisions were taken on the grounds that “some people” say they don’t want feature X, then the entire game would cease to exist.
