When I boot up MCC the error 80004005 shows up after the snyc fails. I have done a hard reset on both my xbox and home network with no success. I’ve been trying to get help through the online chat option through xbox.com and they told me to contact bungie (big face palm there). I’ll post some of the dialogue we had.

syncing
Therese: at 15:16:04
Great!
David: at 15:15:10
if this does not help i’ll delete data from everywhere
Therese: at 15:16:58
That would be hard David
Therese: at 15:17:08
As I think the game itself is the problem
Therese: at 15:17:33
We may need to speak with Bungi about this
David: at 15:16:14
hmm I wonder if 343 has any info on their forums about the syncing issue
David: at 15:16:46
Bungie is not involved with Halo anymore. Microsoft studios and 343 Industries are the new heads of Halo
Therese: at 15:19:59
They actually still developed the game David. Normally we ask customers to contact them. But I am still crossing my fingers that this will work
David: at 15:22:32
It failed again.
Therese: at 15:24:53
I see
Therese: at 15:25:19
We have confirmed that it is the game itself that has the issue David
David: at 15:24:13
agreed.
Why the heck would Bungie support be able to help with a cloud data sync problem? I’m so confused by this.
I just want to be able to play the campaign with friends, multiplayer would be nice but if I can not LAN it I could care less. Any help to fix this issue would be great.
Also I had to ask just be a bit cheeky
Therese: at 15:37:26
Have I addressed all your concerns for today?
David: at 15:37:50
one more thing, will Halo 5 have offline LAN support?
Therese: at 15:38:36
Good question
David: at 15:38:54
hahahaha I’ll just wait for E3 then. Have a good one
Therese: at 15:40:18
lol
Therese: at 15:40:24
I was looking for it
Therese: at 15:40:32
You got me on that question
Therese: at 15:41:02
There was no info given about it
Therese: at 15:41:14
But you can ask that from 343
David: at 15:41:24
thanks again have a good day
