I’m fairly new to this level of online connectivity with a game and how certain things I do at home on my console can be connected with here or there and any other place with an internet connection. that being said I’m completely clueless on how I might be able view my game vids anywhere other than my home console and I’d really like to show some of my friends who don’t play Halo some of the stuff we’re always talking about any help is appreciated.
Hey OP, any game clips you make while playing Halo can be found in the File Browser here on Halo Waypoint:
https://www.halowaypoint.com/en-us/games/halo-5-guardians/xbox-one/game-clips
If you click on “My Game Clips” you will see all the videos you have taken. Clicking on a video will give you a pop-up window where you can watch it and there are some sharing icons in the bottom right for sharing it via twitter, reddit, etc or just getting a direct link to that video so you can pass it on to your friends
kinda sorta don’t know how to make clips being an uber noob sucks lol
If you double tap the home button on your controller you will get the option to either take a screenshot (by pressing Y) or take a 30 second clip (by pressing X). Game clips capture the last 30 seconds by default, but you can change that via the Settings app on your X1. If you have a Kinect, you can also say ‘Xbox Record That’
thanks bud I think I can figure it out from here. Just doublechecking though about my bookmarked vids there’s no way to access my account and view those I’ve saved unless I’m on my home console right?
Hm, I don’t think there is no. Probably would have to be on your home console
alright thanks again
