Since I got Halo 5, I have always had trouble loading custom game types from the community. Maps load just fine but the only game types that load are the ones in my files and the default ones. Whenever I click on a bookmarked game type it just takes me back to the custom games lobby without doing anything. Is anyone else having this issue or know a way to solve it? Thanks.
Yep it’s incredibly annoying. Basically you have to first select the base gametype that the custom gametype modified, and then it’ll allow you to load the custom gametype over it. For example if you had a custom gametype which was SWAT modified to give you DMRs, you’d first have to load SWAT as the gametype before then loading SWAT DMRs over it. Hope that makes sense; wish they’d fix it! Sadly if you don’t know which gametype they edited to begin with, it’s a case of trial and error.
