Game Type select and Weapon Modes for Multiplayer

Good Morning Community!

I have not seen any information about this but if it’s out there, cool, let me know and I will look into it.

The big question for me is:
Does 343 plan on allowing game mode / weapon modes in multiplayer? Or do they intend on keeping it as is?

I truly enjoy the sniper team deathmatch modes in Halo 1 PC and Master Chief Collection. Sniping has always been fun, and has helped my aim, since I don’t play many FPS’s anymore. Good warmup too. I would be very disappointed if there was no mode selects. In the current game modes, I have touched the S7 twice since I started playing and only once did I actually get a chance to use it.

Can a community manager confirm or deny, the state of Multiplayer Mode Select at launch? Not Forge either, these were modes always built into the base game. Thanks!

I’d also like to see more game types, like SWAT (1 shot with BR to head), ranked 2v2s, lone wolf (where every man for himself, 5-6 players spawn in).

Even funny social games, like gravity ball and everyone has the hammers lol. Or big team capture the flag and territory! Going into the warthog with the flag was fun in Halo 3.
