Game tweak idea… more of a geek out thing.

I was thinking what if your game HUD changed according to what ever helmet you are wearing as a spartan. Just thought it would be cool in game tweak. What do you think?

I have to admit, that would be pretty sick. Maybe in the next major update???

There are way too many helmets in Halo 4 for that to be feasible. And given the current state of things, it would probably be very buggy.

But then they’d be put in the awkward position of having to justify how a person even sees out of some of those bizarrely shaped helmets/visors. I’m finishing up my Pioneer specialization and when that helmet unlocked, I stared at it for a solid minute trying to figure out what it was even supposed to be.

I’m with VergilFN4E on the color thing though. Having the HUD displays represent your selected visor color would be pretty cool and you wouldn’t think it would require that much development work. Though having a silver visor and therefore HUD on a snow map might be hard to see compared with someone using a red color scheme. That’s probably why it’s never happened before.
