Okay I just reserved the halo 5 xbox, but they said I can’t pick it up until the day the game release?! I thought I could pick it up a week early or something?? And he said it didn’t come with a statue but it CLEARLY says in the info (looked it up on way point) you get a statue… on a side note if you are in California you can get the game 3 hr earlier on Oct 28th (before midnight).

Physical copies are released on the day of release, because it won’t block them being playable. The Limited edition versions have the statue’s the standard copy, doesn’t.

The halo 5 xbox only comes with the LE version of the game so no, you wouldnt get the statue. Thats only with the LCE version.
Yeah, if you ordered the console you can pick it up a week early. That way you can get the console set up and install the game (it comes with the downloadable version) so you’re all set for launch. But you can’t actually play the game until launch day, i believe.
It was my understanding that the console came with a digital version, but it was already pre-installed on the console.
And you still get the earthmetal guardian statue, just not the large Mc Locke statue.

I pre ordered the halo 5 xbox one edition. The Xbox one DOES NOT come pre downloaded on the halo 5 xbox one, it comes with a download code. Since its a download code shouldn’t I be getting the Xbox one early? (The answer is I should I’ll link a source). Sorry if I’m coming off as rude I’m just irratated with game stop I’m not trying to take it out on any of my way point brothers.

You can pick up the console on the 20th but you wont have access to the game until the 27th.
As far as EB Games AUS goes (which is a Gamestop conglomerate) the consoles and Limited Editions all ship the same week of the Halo 5 release, whereas the Collector’s Editions ship a week earlier than the Halo 5 release date. As for the statue with the console, you will get all of the contents of the LE, which contains a metal Guardian model, however you will not get the statue of the Master Chief and Locke from the CE.
Edit: Sorry, the console also ships one week earlier than the limited and regular editions.
