The game just shut my Xbox Series X completely off, my series X is not overheating, and its well ventilated, no other issues with other games.
Update> It now just crashed to black screen, had to reset
I’ve seen a few of these posts. If it was me normally I would stop playing if it was crashing. Thing is, I’ve had two bogus randomn heat warnings since release day, no way was the console too hot as it was idle on home screen.
Very weird, it’s your call though, if Series X consoles were readily available it would ok for me, we have a spare Xbox fund, but there not available. I wouldn’t risk it, hope it all goes well for you 
Same thing is happening to me. It’s not overheating I pressed leave match and I saw like a purple screen on my monitor then it shut off. I don’t know why it is happening but I have reported it.
