I’ve restart both my computer and the program multiple times, uninstalled and reinstalled the program multiple times, adjusted multiple settings multiple times, etc.
After download and installation, the game runs successfully. However, when the splash screen comes up, once you press [Space] to enter the main menu, the main menu screen appears and then dims rapidly three times, and then returns to normal. Then, every 10-20 seconds, the game will “refresh” itself (on screen only, no audio issues). The majority of the screen (if not the entire screen) will remain the same except it will darken for a split second and return to normal. However, on screens with menu items, select and/or scroll bars (Audio, Controls, Video Settings, Audio Settings, etc) the “movable” portions of the screen (scroll bars or toggle-able options) WILL revert to their original state when they “refresh.” For example, if I open the Video Settings, scroll down and open a setting (ie V-sync>on/off), when the “refresh” occurs the screen will go dark briefly like normal but the page will scroll back up to the top and the “selectable” option will be the first option on that menu screen.
Since I’m having to describe a visual situation, it’s like you’re in a room with the lights on, you move some stuff in the room around, turn the lights down really low, return them to full brightness, the ROOM itself is unchanged but the items all return to their original locations. Therefore, the game is essentially unplayable as of right now due to the video interruptions occurring 10-20 seconds and the “resetting” of menus during the “refresh.”
