So, I’m finishing up a game of Slayer. It’s raining outside, but not very hard. My teammate makes a kill, I hear and see “Game over! Vict-”
The screen goes black. My computer behind me goes silent. My fan turns off. The lights go out. …Several seconds later, lights and fans and clocks come back on, but it’s obviously too late.
Is this going to count as a “Quit” in my records, toward some hidden “If you quit X amount of times, you get banned from online play” counter, that sorta thing?

An easy way to avoid playing people you’ve matched up a few games in a row is to wait a little. Once they are in rotation again (which they probably will be considering you’ve matched up with them so often before), you can safely search for a new lobby that won’t group you with them since there’s no JIP.
Don’t quit the game for silly reasons like that, please. It ruins the entire game for everyone else in the team you left. Especially at the very beginning.

Ok story time so when I was playing warzone with my best budds for some reason my screen started to flash black then turned back on then it happened again and I was like “what the --” so when kept playing EVERY ELECTRIC IN MY FAMILY’S HOUSE WENT CUT. So I checked if something was wrong I couldn’t sleep that night
I looked on my phone that there was a tornado on the loose but then it vanished after the incident.
“OH NOOOOO, THE TREES FELL ON TOP OF THE ELECTRICAL THINGS” welp oof then, time to waste my life doing nothing btw this was 10/8/2020
This has happened to me before. I would imagine that 343i has no way of knowing it was a power outage vs a rage Xbox shutoff. And honestly it is probably a good thing too or more people would do it and blame it on a power outage. As others have stated also, the first ban or two are almost laughable as far as time goes. Three minutes is nothing as long as you don’t keep doing it.
