I played some couple ranked matches in Infinite and at nearly every beginning of each match 1 to 2 people just quit. I hope 343 fixes this and gives quitters penalties for such behaviour. I just hope that it wont continue in Infinite like it is in MCC in the past and right now. And is it me or are my team mates just plain bad or playing like bots. I make more kills alone than my other 3 team mates together…

Quitting is in every single game, too many muppets cry hard when they are losing and rage quit. I agree though I hope they get some big penalties for quitting early.

There is a quit ban already in place.
There’s no point in sticking around in an uneven match. It’s obvious when mouse and keyboard input is being used. What’s so strange is that 343, with access to Microsoft’s Azure servers and all of their other resources, can’t figure out that there should at least be an OPTION for input-based multiplayer. Not to mention this game was supposed to have SBMM as well. After losing 20 matches straight to sticky grenades and shotgun snipers on the other side of the map with their mice and keyboards, it’s clear 343 didn’t bother thinking about THAT either.

The quitting is most likely a bug that sometimes causes the game to crash while loading into the match.

If you think 343 will implement any sort of real punishment for quitting, you’re gonna be madly disappointed. 2 hours in and still haven’t played a game where every player plays. They didn’t learn from the MCC dying, they most likely won’t learn in time to save Infinite.
Quitters should be severely punished in terms of rank but the teammates should be allowed to end the game without penalty if they leave early enough
