What is with the physics in this game? Has anyone noticed how a players character is sometimes standing on an invisible wall? same with a dead character, they aren’t lying on the ground or floor, they are just floating in thin air. Also, has anyone noticed that when you look at a character from a distance, the frame rate in which they move drops, and they look like they are lag running, wtf 343? Not even the older games made mistakes this insane. Instead of posting updates about new game types, maps and REQs, can we get updates about the game getting fixed? This is HALO, get it -Yoinking!- right or don’t do it at all and give it back to bungie.

i loved ODST and Reach but you could tell it didnt have the same care and polish that the main titles had

well instead of running around and not paying attention to everything, watch how players from a distance, watch how the framerate drops, and when your in theater, look carefully on how a dead or alive character is standing or lying on the ground or on a metal floor.
I’ve seen it a couple of times on forged maps but I don’t think it’s a danger to society.
The splatter physics in this game are extremely stupid. So is the vehicle driving and handling.
As far as framerate goes, as soon as a character is further than a couple of meters, their position gets updates at 60fps, but their animation is only updated at 30fps. So pretty much the image become jittery because it only updates on every other frame.
the framerate of character far away drop to help the performence i think but i havent see any problems with the physic you mentioned. maybe just some visuals bugs.
I’ve gotten stuck on an invisible cliff once when I accidently jumped over a barrier trying to escape fire. I had no way gettin back to the map so I had to commit suicide (which would have happened anyways because I jumped to my death by accident).
I’ve seen a lot of floating bodies and weapons.
Some times while walking some where I hit a tiny invisible wall I have to jump over often in wide open spaces. I think it’s the same reason vehicles flip out for know reason cause the walls are likely small enough for a vehicle to roll over but not walk over.
