With my friend (Shadoweddude4), I have came up with two (really one) great game mode ideas (the first one is a game mode at least) that are OK if they aren’t added because it really hasn’t been done before. #1- Warden Brawl
Just imagine, as everyone is warden eternal, a 4 player game. You sword is a one hit kill like an energy sword. I just love thinking about the first person view of the warden. There would have to be a cool down after every swing, however. You can sprint, and the maps that it’s played on would be huge (to scale as if you were a spartan). This is the one that would never be added because for one, a lot of people don’t like this idea (I know some of you won’t). There would be more details, but I actually forgot some details about this, I really should write it down.
#2-Doubles playlist (just read)
Basically, this is like it sounds. But it would include things like breakout, set for 2 v 2. Other game types would be included as well such as CTF and Strongholds. Really anything could work with doubles. This is different from the doubles that was slayer.
What are your ideas for game modes? Please don’t say infection or grifball, try something new.
I would definitely try a warden fight mode, but I don’t think I’d much care for it after a few tries. Interesting idea for sure though. I’m not usually a fan of doubles, but I would actually go for doubles breakout. I love that game.
As for my own idea, I’m a fan of modes with pure chaos. I’ve always like the idea of an ‘everything mode’. So each team would have a flag that could be captured for points. There’d be a hill that moved around (like crazy king) that gives you points for standing in it. There’d be an odd ball or three around the map that give points for holding them, and then just more points for kills. It’d be awesome to play that 8 on 8, or even 4 teams of 4. Maybe even a Warzone scale with bosses added for extra points. It’d be terribly chaotic and totally not competitive in any sense, but man I think it’d be awesome to see in action with people who could actually get into it. I wouldn’t want to play it all the time, but I love me a good cluster yoink. Multi-team was always my favorite for this reason.

Likely to love a gametype I created since Halo 3, easy idea : it’s a small map and random weapons with infinite ammo (bottomless clip in the Reach version) .
It’s pure chaos when someone spawned or managed to find a fuel rod gun (weapons from dead players all over the place) and spam the whole map.

That reminds me of a game my friend made that’s basically just that. Random weapons and infinite ammo, the map was literally a tiny box with spawns in each corner. We’d play it with like 6-8 people and it was just so stupid but so much fun. We’d easily play till 1000 kills as we just bantered for hours.
Similarly I made a mode that was just the empty foundry, basically a grifball map, and it would be either gravity hammers or sniper rifles (different game modes usually) but everyone had 300% speed, extra jump height, and no shields. Probably only ever good for an action sack mode. Super simple but so much fun!
I might make a variant in Halo 5 wtih the Plasma Caster. That could be fun.
I also like the Banshee fight but not 12v12 maybe like 6v6. Also like do a vehicle fight with random spawn. Maybe like Human vs. Covenant vehicle battle or just random spawn. Also add a Human flight vehicle. That would be cool.
