Game looks good, but I have some concerns....

To not make it a clustered mess I will just present what I have to say in points:

  1. With introducement of primary and secondary weapon slots in multiplayer, I did wonder is this going to effect singleplayer? Actually, there are a lot of ,perks’’ that you can equip your character with for matchmaking, and Im curious how or if they will appear in singleplayer aswell. Though, making me choose between abbility to keep 2 primary weapons and being able to pick up granades in singleplayer would make me a sad panda.

  2. Im not expecially fond of changes to multiplayer in general, like having weapon loadouts you have to unlock, primary and secondary slots for weapons, being able to use the pistol with the flag… Im expecially worried about the whole ,perk’’ system, expecially since some of these perks are things like the RIGHT to pick up granades and so forth, it just feels like youre VERY underpowered and have much less options on the fly, instead limiting you to what you chosen beafore the match begun. And then we have things like the wallhack armor abbility, Im just not sure this could be trully balanced properly. Though what do I know, people that already played the game seemed satisfied with the changes so meaby they DID balance it enough, and its just one of these things that play out better than it sounds on paper. Still, I will reserve the final judgement untill I get my own hands on it.

  3. No spoilers since I dont know anything about how the story will progress in the game, but Im REALY nervous about how will the ending play out. I mean yea, I know they announced this as a first part of a trilogy, but I dont want to play a game that ends on a cliffhanger, AGAIN, expecially since I have no plans regarding a purchase of any console made by MS ever again, so Im going to obviously miss out on the later two games. I hope the ending is open but satisfying on its own. I also hope the game is relatively long, and though I never had problems with lenght of Halo games, anything can happen.

  4. A minor complaint, and actually kind of personal so its bound to preference, but I realy dont like how the mutiplayer spartan armors look like in this one. They just feel very… small and disjointed, like there are A LOT of holes that expose the kevlar or whatever its made out black undercoat and armor parts seem alot more disconnected from one another, to me it makes it look like some regular costume anybody could wear instead of few-ton-weighting tank-like exoskeleton. Not even gonna mention the inclusion of pre-order exclusive armor…

  5. Not a fan of skulls being unlocked from the start. I loved hunting for and finding the skulls in 2 and 3, expecially the latter one since it allowed you to customise your experiance upon replaying the game in virious ways, having them unlocked by default kinda takes away from the whole charm of actually earning the right to make the campaign play differently. I mean yea, Im sure there will be some easter eggs and terminals and all that jazz, but I rather have secrets that have an impact on the gameplay itself, I never was a fan of small criptic messages unless there is some actually interesting trivia involved that wasnt mentioned beafore or if they formed together an interesting storyline like in ODST. Been some time since we had a secret weapon like the scarab gun in 2 aswell.

By the by, if any of this is contradicted by information I wasnt aware of, then please correct me.

Don’t worry. It’s just a game.

1.no, you don’t play as your modified spartan IV in campaign, you play as master chief. with no armor mods or loadouts, obviously.

2.yeah, there are a lot of iffy changes, but they all have drawbacks, and using one limits you to others so you gain one advantage but lose any other possible advantage. overall the changes will attract more players.

  1. 343 already stated that in Halo 4 you’ll finish the fight you start, no big cliffhanger. as for the length, i believe it will be kind of short, but it really depends on how you play and what difficulty.

4.halo 4’s armors look incredibly functional. in halo reach it was a wonder how they even moved around in those excessively-bulky washed out armors and many parts of their armor didn’t make sense in terms of how you’d wear it and the functionality of it. halo 4’s armors are more realistic(and vibrantly colored!)only complaint is that they are hard to distinguish the differences between different the armor types.

5.Yeah, kinda wish i could hunt them myself too but there will still be a good amount of easter eggs to find i’m sure.

Yet you did.

Your loadout is for Spartan OPS and War Games. The campaign progresses as it has always with the Chief, we are not in control of his appearance or when/what he gets beyond killing the enemy for it, or 'nade jumping to a location. We may get to JP as the Chief, unsure.

Have you heard of Slayer Pro?

It ends like A New Hope and CE. Remember the Chief’s first last words “No, we’re just getting started.”? Well H4 does end as such. It’s a stand alone story that still sets the stage for a larger and darker sequel

They’re specialised role suits whose battle profile determines the distribution of plating. These suits have stronger and faster recharging shielding than the Mk.VI and the Spartan isn’t suppose to Rambo it IRL (in real lore). Increased efficiency in shielding allows a reduction in armour for suits not intended to be tanks.

We’ll have to see on this one. I liked skull hunting but post H2, it wasn’t much of a hunt.
Those types of Easter eggs are from a time when online didn’t have all the goodies it has now.
As it is, the release of news maps so quickly is because of the way the gametypes are made. There won’t be much of a variation on maps unless you mix up gametypes. The quick succession of maps is to cater to all playlists but in increments
Now to consider the release of the new maps so quickly, plus Spartan OPS weekly missions, plus leveling up a player’s SR, one can understand, maybe not forgive but at least understand why certain older features are no longer current.

> Don’t worry. It’s just a game.

NO IZ NUT GAEM IZ LIEF 4 MI

> Yet you did.

Whoops, looks like I didnt word that one properlyyyyy :stuck_out_tongue:

Now, with point 1, I DO know MC is the main character and that your multiplayer char is only for multi, but what I was reffering to was if the mechanics like primary and secondary weapon slots, and to some extension other perks like that would appear in singleplayer in one way or another, and if they would be to some extend customizable.

I dont think multiplayer and singleplayer content should exclude one-another, expecially since lots of people still do enjoy these type of secrets. I do know what your saying and I do understand the possible reasoning behind exclusion of these fatures, yet still, I will realy miss these.

And I just KNEW people would bring up that new armor looks more realistic the way it is now :P. Well, yea, maybe, but it doesnt look BETTER that way, atleast to me. I always liked this literaly armored robot-like look of the spartan armor, making it too gritty and down to earth kinda takes away from its original visual design I liked so much, if you catch my drift.

Very sorry about double post, site still have some problems it seems.
