Game keeps running but my screen shows the desktop

My game keeps taking me to the desktop and I can still hear it. The problem is that I can’t get back to it because the window for it is missing.

Under Task Manager, it doesn’t show up as an app but as a background process. If I force it to close, I’m banned when I immediately try to play again.

My ban times are getting longer which is ridiculous. The game in general has been getting worse for me over the past few months. Before that, I’d been playing since release day and didn’t have any problems.

I would appreciate it if anyone has any ideas on how to resolve this. Thanks.

This is a known issue at the moment OP. You can work around it by using borderless mode for the time being, may not be ideal for you but it should prevent the issue from happening again until it gets fixed

You can try pressing Alt + Enter when this happens to you, this shortcut is used to change the window mode If you can’t always play Borderless, which is my favorite, it saves you all kinds of problems.
