Game is still crashing like it was before. Would randomly freeze during gameplay and then closes and I’m back to my desktop. No error windows or error messages or anything. I have already uninstalled the game again. I’ll try again whenever season 3 drops. If it’s not fixed by then then I simply won’t be playing another 343 Halo game. I’ve been playing since the original came out at the launch of OG Xbox and can care less about cosmetics and battlepass progression or challenges and whatever; I just care about performance. And this game is just not good at all. I have more demanding games that I play without any issues whatsoever so I know it has nothing to do with my hardware.
Crashing constantly since launch. I get to the first cutscene after looking up, down, left, right and then boom I’m on desktop. Every time. Reinstalled game, everything. I crash with a 0x… adress failure. It is a mess.
Similar system: 3090. Windows Store version. Reinstalled after S2. 8700k and 32GB Ram on M2 SSD.
Also crashing.

Playing campaign for 10 minutes then crashes to desktop every single time. I have disabled/uninstalled every service I can find. I uninstalled halo/reinstalled. DDU’ed my drivers, re-installed drivers. No over clocking at all. All temps seem completely fine.
Completely out of ideas.
Same issue here, crashing constantly right before joining a game. Tried disabling all unnecessary background processes but it didn’t help.
Exception Code: 0xC0000005
Exception Information: The thread tried to read from or write to a virtual address for which it does not have the appropriate access.
Double checked RAM and pagefile settings, everything checks out there and other games run fine.
The latest Nvidia driver 516.59 had a hotfix to increase stability over a number of games including Infinite.
Seems to work, normally I cant play game with frames over 120fps without crashing every couple of hours.
Played all day yesterday @165fps & no crash (I play steam version)
I used to have the odd crash every now and then but right now it seems to be happening consistently I’m really at the end of my tether now.

Can’t believe this problem is happening to me right now. It’s so toxic tbh
This has been happening ever since the game has released. im no expert but a kernel base error is the game accessing files which it hasn’t got the adminatistion rights to. that’s my guess.
This is all I’ve been experiencing all week…no error given aside from event viewer, just crash mid game, new pc too so its not like the hardwares out of date. Other games run fine currently. I’ve even tried running in administrator mode and all the basic “fixes” (reinstall, drivers, change high dpi setting, etc). Game is unplayable at this point. Game really is still in “beta” at this point with no official fix for those with this issue.

Thank you for this! Game started crashing with kernel errors for me the last time I updated my drivers, makes sense.
I’ve had this same issue since the game came out, and even before that with the flights. I’ve submitted numerous tickets on the issue, tried literally everything under the sun to fix it, but there’s nothing I can do. It’s an issue with the game, and apparently they are never going to fix it.
