Game keeps crashing on me. There is no warning, or indication it even crashed. I’m playing the multiplayer and all the sudden the game freezes, closes and sends me to my desktop. This wouldn’t be so bad except it happens way to often. I don’t believe it’s my hardware, my network, or anything else like that because I have tested everything I can through stress tests. Please fix this.

I’ve had a few crashes myself, I’m on ye olde Xbox, although all the times the crashes have happened I’ve been using the grapple shot to yeet myself to another vehicle or person.
Have you “Submit a ticket” on the HALO SUPPORT SITE ?
Also, it might be helpful if you could provide the OS version and build number to them.
Same. Loads the map, starts the countdown then crashes to the desktop. Even lowered all the settings and it was still doing it. Now it says “user banned”. Great.
Anyone know how long a ban lasts?
I’ve had this problem as well, i wish there was a rejoin game option to avoid bans.
Just curious, has anyone had any luck with this problem being fixed? I have the same problem and it seems like i can get into the game then fps drops, game freezes, and crashes without an error window. Really sad i cant play on my only days off for the next week, maybe they will have it fixed by the time i get back
Does the Windows Event Viewer give you anything useful to debug? (windows key + x → event viewer → Windows logs → application)
I was getting hard CTDs with random errors there until I took off my graphics card overclock. For whatever reason, I cannot run any OC on my graphics card in this game, even though it’s stable in everything else.

Getting the same thing. I submitted a ticket with support on the 16th. It has to be a dev issue. Some funky call they’re doing. I’ve done all kinds of things to try and fix it. We’re just gonna have to wait unfortunately.
Do you have an overclock in afterburner/precision or anything you can revert?
Looks like im having the same issue through the xbox app PC.
Get a few variants of the error - mostly the faulting module changes but its unplayable at current. I have also logged a ticket to support.

I am also getting very consistent crashes. Crashes in every game mode and send me to blue screen saying windows is restarting.
I submitted a ticket but who knows when that will be dealt with.

Also getting random game crashes on pc. Don’t crash on Xbox one x though.
Anyone found a fix for this yet? Was able to repair the XB app via a PowerShell command but no success.
Having multiple crashes, I can’t even finish one game and I’m banned for 1h. A problem with this game but they Banned ME for no reason. SOMEONE PLEASE FIX THIS PROBLEM. .
Everyone who encounters the issue needs to create a support ticket. It’s widely known to most playing on PC, but to increase priority it has to be seen in the proper channels which is their support ticket system. Attach your dx diagrams as well. It’s an issue with the game.
Anyone who gets banned because of it should attach a print screen of the app error shown in Event Viewer and demand the ban is lifted and compensation for lost game time. If you’ve paid for the campaign via GamePass or outside the subscription I think that’s only fair.
Mine is reporting the same I undo my overclocked the problem persist.
keeps happening to me as well, no idea why. It did start to happen once I played the campaign but I wouldn’t think that’s the cause.
Now I crash every single time I finish a match
i have had crashes on and off for a few weeks for sure but tonight was the worst, 2 in back to back games and I lost more elo on onyx than I earned over the period of a few days. No reason to not have a reconnect feature if CS has had it for a decade. I don’t think I’ll bother with ranked until stability improves. No rime or reason to them either, sometimes I crash in the first game after I boot up, other times I crash after playing for 2 hours. Just venting but this is nuts.
