Okay well I mean I can play single player offline etc, but when I go to matchmaking it says “contacting server” and i’ve left it there for long periods of time and it still has never connected, I’ve tried joining my friend’s lobby but it doesn’t connect. I went into the settings, and every time I go over the network option in settings it says unable to connect to network services. I’ve done hard resets, system updates, etc. This has been a problem since the big ui change update, and since then my home has even switched ISP’s so it’s not a problem with the ISP. Does anybody know a solution? my NAT type does say open in the xbox settings by the way.
Not sure if it’s been adjusted or been removed yet, but I know they region locked the game again once the update came out for some reason. So if you’re outside North America you may have an issue connecting to people outside your region. Other than that I’d maybe try to reinstall it again and see if that works.
I’ve reinstalled it, and the same issue occurs. It’s not that I can’t connect to people, I literally can’t connect to pretty much any of the game’s online features. In the network settings it doesn’t show any servers it just says that I can’t connect, every other game on xbox works perfectly fine.
There game has never been region locked, meaning unable to be used in a specific region. It does rely on your ping to data centers to determine who you will match with. This would not stop Normal from seeing servers, my best suggestion is working with your router or network to try to figure out where you are being blocked.
