I wanted to make a new thread just to make sure 343 or Microsoft knows that the game is broke and the sale thats going on is just one last attempt to screw people out of their money. I will be applying for refund as its apparent that everyone is having the same exact problem and or close to the same problem. I have tried everything and nothing works or fixes this. The game just loads a splash screen and shows halo wars and then crashes instant with no error or anything. I have other Microsoft games from window 10 pc that do the exact same thing and the only thing that fixed them was uninstall redownload then reinstall. But it was just a crap shoot. Its stupid we have to redownload the entire game again and have no option to save the game or installer especially the age we live in where disc are no longer around. Its all digital now and this is just garbage port of a game. Gears 4 does this same thing and its at a 125g download… Its obvious the devs for this game do not even care or acknowledge the problem here and just decided to say screw it and throw out another sale.
The game is incredible and awesome. I love it and I am sure everyone else does to. They gave us crossplay and attack move controls so it seems that 343 wants to do the right thing but this crash on load is just silly. I talked my friend into buying and it doesnt start and his pc is brand new with clean install of windows 10 and all drivers updated etc… Please do something about this Microsoft and 343. I have gears 4 forza 7 and halo wars 2 and they have all done this at one point or another. I fixed them but many weeks of redownloading and tech savy. My friend can barely turn on the pc and it doesnt work for him and he is extremely upset and I convinced him to delete it and try again.
