Game is unplayable on AMD - lack of optimization

I’ve been playing a lot this days, but im actually starting to get pissed, i thought the new update would fix the optimization situation, but it din’t, almost 7,5 gb of nothing

I’m playing on an AMD Ryzen 5 2400g, on a RX 570, and it is not the rig, or the graphic configurations, i get exactly the same frames in both LOW and ULTRA, and it is not the frame limiters it doesnt matter if i put both on 75 or 25, or unlocked and off, it doesn’t matter.

It’s actually getting annoying, im playing with a friend that has a gtx 1050, and he gets way better FPS going round 58 to 75.

Keep in mind that this is the first big real world test for not just the game… but the underlying Slipstream engine.

They will be working hard at the optimisations required.

out of curiosity, if you are willing, could you see what it’s like running on the 2400G integrated graphics? If you don’t feel like removing your 570 or don’t have the time, don’t worry about it, you’re not obliged to. I am just curious as I’d imagine it’s pretty terrible if a dedicated AMD GPU can’t run it well, I wonder if it would even be supported by the game.

Alright, i cannot say anything yet, I’ve been stuck at the loading screen with the dots for more than 45 minutes now, I will go take a shower then check if it loaded. lol

yeah this is a big issue , i have slightly better specs and this game is barely playable , but from what ive heard its not an AMD thing its all gpus and cpus

I have an RX 580 and after updating my drivers it made a world of difference in the frame rate, but I get pretty crappy graphics. Everything looks like it was set to low regardless of what I actually set it to.

Thanks for sparing the time to experiment with this, I hope it works lol. As a side thought, If this game doesn’t run on really low end GPUs like the vega 8 IGP’s, 343 will seriously be limiting their reach. Obviously we can’t draw conclusions based on the current performance as this is very pre release/
