Game is far worse than Halo 5

Only reason it’s popular is because it’s free and on PC so the work was already done for 343.

One gold thing 343 made was original breakout and we don’t even get that just same old fiesta

Too much pew pew and armor bundles not enough new new

Fix your game ASAP already losing numbers on steam by the day

I think Halo 5 was better in terms of monetization and progression. While the Halo 5 randomized lootboxes were annoying and made it difficult to get the exact armor you wanted, at least you were consistently unlocking new cosmetics unlike Infinite. You also got a career progression system which Infinite currently lacks,

As for gameplay, the overall edge goes to Infinite imo. I prefer Infinite’s removal of 3 of the 5 basic spartan abilities from 5, boost, ground pound, and shoulder charge. I prefer the new BTB to the Warzone that Halo 5 had on launch. 5 and Infinite trade blows on weapons, with Infinite having some weapons that are better and 5 having some weapons that are better. Maps wise, I like how Infinite’s maps are all built from the ground up whereas 5 had 2 forged maps on release.

So youre saying you want to go back to the pay to win system??

I bought the Halo 5 disc and the online was all a part of it. I was a little slow to start with the online, as I was more of a campaign player. Once I got into the online I really enjoyed it. I never bought any of the gold req packs, everything was ‘bought’ with RP through gameplay. I have all the load outs, power weapons, vehicles, armour etc. etc and didn’t have to pay anymore, than the original campaign purchase.

Fiesta is way more fun than Breakout

IMO Infinite is nearly perfect from as far as gameplay goes. It’s modern Halo done right. I have no desire to ever touch Halo 5 again.

OG breakout was the best competitive game mode ever. I’m so glad I’m not the only one who remembers it.

That is a cap, sir.

That is a cap in a half.

Sandbox feels amazing.

It was only pay to win in the first few weeks, after that everyone accumulated enough high powered weapons and vehicles to counter any kid who bought dozens of gold backs after launch

I really loved halo 5 multiplayer. it was amazing. I unlocked every piece without spending a penny! I had so much fun killing players with magnum and surprisingly none of Halo Infinite weapons are as fun as magnum to kill !! which makes it boring for me. also we should play how they want us to play. in Warzone you could get anything you want and anything that suits for you anytime you wanted ! but unfortunately warzone is not a thing anymore!

I prefer the Halo 5 system where I can have everything just playing instead of having to pay for armors or colors!! Even the weapons balance was better.

I miss those halo 5 weapon variants

Wait for the 8th when it’s actually considered full release state to see what might be new or coming back. It’s titled beta right now. Hopefully many things are added that day.

H5 was great for it’s time. I’m happy to be playing a new halo though. The customization sucks bad in this game so far, but as far as getting on and just playing, I’ve been really enjoying it for the little that it has so far.

I never played Halo 5 but uhhh. Last I heard from many people that the gameplay itself played fine. Campaign is universally reviled but multiplayer I have never heard anyone complain about the core gameplay at all.

agree, it’s a money maker primarily, not a video game to be enjoyed.

Yeah straight facts tbh

This is true, and warzone had its moments too

Tell me you never played haloc5 without saying you never played halo 5

YEP !! Unlocked everything through gameplay. You could spend a couple of thousand, if you wanted to and have every unlock at SR1 or play, get RP and do it that way, which is what I did. Bought the disc and had everything there.

Req packs were pay to win. They did the same garbage in halo wars 2 with blitz. You could also literally just pay outright not even to win but to unlock all the armor instantly. Lootboxes are pay to win my guy. A halo themed casino right on your doorstep. Like honestly, if i created a new account and started up halo 5 right now, dropped $200 on the game and jumped into warzone, i would do arguably well for myself compared to the people there that have spent hundreds of hours grinding out enough points to redeem for REQ packs. Is that not the definition of pay to win?

Also yea i didnt play much of halo 5. Cuz i took one look at the req packs and saw the lootbox nightmare permeating the realm of halo.
