Im sorry 343i I really want to like and enjoy this game but after a week of owning the game I am feeling like putting it on the shelf. Why its not because of the story or anything like that its just the players I run into nonstop.
I cant get into any playlist that does not have ubber l33t halo tryhards. I am tired of this as I just want to have fun not work up a sweat playing the game.
I am not starting a flamewar just saying the tryhards all come at me at once with dmrs because I guess its the beest weapon or something and I cant fight 4 - 5 players at once on my own. Also almost known of my friends want to play for this reason.
Can I do something to not get matches like this? Or do I have to shelf halo untill 343i fixes something.
It’s a First Person Shooter and since Descent to Quake Arena players will come after you shooting. So that’ll never change. But I feel your pain, I’m not real happy with this game right now. Everything beautiful looking and fantastic, but like the Stepford Wives something is really not right with it under the surface and you begin to see it.
Well I could advise you to find a group to do customs with. Could be a nice change of pace. Though Custom Game options are fairly limited compared to Halo 4’s predecessors, it may still be more your speed.
Forgehub and XForgery hold custom game nights if I remember correctly.
Tryhards with the DMR? I own people comfortably in medium sized maps with the Battle Rifle. Still don’t know which of the 3 rifles I like best yet. Loving the bolt shot at the moment
Yeah I just wish there was a playlist for semi casuals or a playlist where the tryhards can be supper competitive in. I mean halo reach took 2 years to be this annoying.
This game just needs some tweeks it will be fine. What I dislike is how 343i wont let us know there take on the controversial issues such as
If the dmr needs tweeking (it kills faster than the other starters so I think it needs to change somewhere. But again not starting a flamewar)
If the boltshot needs tweeking
The glitching into walls
the camping ontop of complex
It would help if they just stated there stance on these issues.

The br is best in mid range. This is just my definition of tryhards okay Im not saying you are or something.
I have ran a test and filmed it. I plan to put it on youtube. From my test the dmr kills the fastes out of the stater primaries. I also did its recoil pattern.

Not saying they have to leave but they need playlist where casuals and mid core (yes its a term) players can mingle while the supper competitive players can play.

The problem lies in there being too few playlists, so various groups of players from different core values/skills are being pact together.
Some may see this as good, while others may see this as bad, but until 343 makes more playlists and adjusts the current playlists, this will be the norm for a while to come, and playlists usually don’t get updated/added very quickly.

Yes i agree with this. Probably where the problem lies
