I just realized how that taught me nothing, except that the ‘Episodes,’ will be part video. I was just hoping they would tell us about the AC.

I just hope joining sessions in progress will only be in social games (if there’s any), just like how Gears of War 3 does it when you can’t join a Ranked match that already started.

I would like to see that too. I find that the fact that it is ranked would keep most players from quitting right from the start, especially if they make the quitting penalty worse than that of just losing.

Exactly. Halo 3 does this perfectly. You lose XP when you quit a match.

Not sure how I feel about the random power weapon drops in random spots… I dont like the idea of randomness suddenly favoring a team.
So long as the standard weapons are competent, it will hopefully not be a problem.
They guy on the left throughout the entire video: “ok,…ok,…ok”(in his head:"WTF, you guys left me behind and didn’t BRING ME to PLAY HALO 4!!! You guys aren’t even true Halo fans! I ask a simple question about the melee and you guys tell me that it feel like Halo??? I WANTED to know if it was like H3 or Reach! At least you guys did ONE thing that was useful by officially confirming Forge Mode.)
I really like the fact that weekly Spartan OPS DLC will be free. I never liked the idea of a season pass that others game have gone with.
I like how they say that power weapons (i.e. rockets, snipes) will drop into the map so that longer time players/more skilled players will not have an advantage over newer players, and then say that weapons/abilities/perks(like carrying extra grenades) will be unlockable via a progression system.
I would think that unlocking such things permanently would be a much bigger advantage over newer players than knowing where the rockets are going to spawn on a map. I mean you can teach a newbie where/when power weapons will spawn but there is no way to unlock weapons for custom loadouts early if it’s anything like CoD.
It’s not a huge deal to me but it seems like silly logic to say the least, I guess time will tell.

Yeah, that’s because they are just regurgitating the crap 343 and them have said before. There is not actual deep analysis from GI.
