Game History Not Carrying Over

Support and Staff,

I’ve been a part of Halo Waypoint since it’s inception and registered my account with it through my Microsoft Live(Xbox) E-mail years ago. I just picked up Halo 5 recently and decided to hop on the forums so I signed into my account. After looking into my account history, all of my service record data from Halo 3, ODST, Reach, and 4 is not there. Is there something I’m missing - such as an import? I’ve kept this same e-mail for the past 10+ years, only changing my gamer tag along the way. Is there a way to recover my service records, rankings, and stats in the previous games? As well as receive the Halo Waypoint Forum Badges I earned.

If you’ve changed your gamertag, then that’s why your stats currently won’t line up. Easy way to fix it though, is to load up each game and play a match or 2 or some campaign. After a short time the servers will sync up properly with your new tag :slight_smile:

Oh that’s a good point! Thanks for this information. :slight_smile: Unfortunately I don’t have my Xbox360 or any of those old games anymore though…

There isn’t I’m afraid. Your old stats are still tied to your old gamertag, so you need to play the game with your new tag so that everything syncs up. Best thing I can think of is to borrow a friends console. Or, if you have any of your saved games in cloud storage, if any of the games are available via backwards compatibility you may be able use that to update your stats. Borrow a game disc from a friend or local library, rent a disc or buy a digital license. I think Halo Reach and Halo 3 were in Games with Gold, so if they become backwards compatible you’ll be able to play them if you got them during the GwG promo :slight_smile:
