So, what gives? The Betas - both of them - played better than this. I’ve installed the game on my Xbox, started up just fine, played through the first two missions just fine. Difficult spike on the third mission aside, though… what the hell? I randomly start getting huge lag spikes where the framerate drops to practically zero, either when new units pop onto the screen or when I try to hijack a vehicle with my Spartan. What happened, 343? This isn’t acceptable for a 60 dollar game. Sure, the game was designed with Windows 10 in mind first this time around, but I’m seeing multiple topics all touching on similar performance issues on the Xbox One.
