So it happened to me twice in 1 day already
Anyone else? First after a Warzone match and now after a Griffball match.

It’s happened to me before, not not as often.
It can vary from a few times a day to almost every game.
Happens to me pretty often if I’m doing a long play session. Seemed to become a common thing after the Overtime update way back when.
that happens since I remember, but I think I discovered one “trick” for this, this is related with the carnage report (the summary for the previous game that you can see with the “select” button) if you quit that screen immediatly afther the game you have higher chance to get freezed, also if you put and quit that screen, my recommendation is if you are playing the same playlist, dont quit the screen and wait until the natchmaking find some players, after that I think you are safe from view and quit that screen.
It happends to me every other game or so. When it goes to the post game report, while equipping a arena boost. And while finding a new lobby after a game. I’m playing on the Xbox one X and have HDR10 enabled. Playing on in 4k UHD.
UPDATE : Try resetting your cache on your Xbox.

I only play a few playlists, but it mainly happens in BTB. It also happens in Firefight sometimes although it usually only lasts around 10 seconds at the most in that playlist. In recent weeks, I’ve only really been playing Firefight though so it’s not something that’s been an issue as of late.

After playing Social playlists?
I mainly get it with Firefight or BTB. If it does happen it is usually after checking out the carnage report and the timer is counting down to start searching again.
You can save it if it freezes probably 70-80% of the time if you spam X until it unfreezes. As long as you can hear the menu sound clinking there is hope. If you stop hearing sound then you will have to dashboard.

1st 1 was with just one person
2nd 1 was with a lobby of 12.

I think it happened after I tried exiting the Carnage Report .
