My halo 5 consantly freezes and sometines even crashed completely when either someone leaves the game or when the game itself ends, its getting so annoying that i have to reset my halo after almost(if not) every custom game(sometimes even crashed mid game) is there anything that i can do to fix it i know its not on my side because it happens to all my friends that are in the game too
Any solution to this? Or do i have to survive a half broken game like this until h6?
That’s probably just your network or maybe something is wrong with your xbox because my xbox loves to turn off every time I’m going fo a perfection.

Funny that it happens to like half the ppl(if not all of em) in the party, that cant be my fault xd
Uninstall and reinstall the game, that worked for me. I still having some freezes but have been reduced…

The game is broken with the join in progress stuff. Anytime someone quits the game my screen freezes 2-5 seconds. It’s pretty pathetic but 343 isn’t smart enough to figure out how to fix it or they would have by now. So plan on it not being fixed.

Its not just 2-5 seconds sometimes its even permanent, and i have to reset my h5 completely
This has been ruining my Halo experience. I can’t host custom lobbies any more due to the fact that my game and the rest of the parties game freezes. Even after BTB matches, my game freezes. How am I suppose to be excited for the next game when Halo 5 cannot even run properly on my Xbox One X. It’s sad and disappointing.

Ikr, finally getting home from a day if work and getting excited about playing some halo only to have it freeze 2 minutes into the game…smh
I share your frustration. Freezes and lag are an unfortunate common occurrence in this game. You can minimize by ensuring you are wired, with an open NAT.

I have an Open NAT. I have my Xbox Wired. It freezes when people leave the game, but completely freezes at the end of the match. 343 needs to work on Halo 5, not Halo MCC.

Agreed, good to kniw that both of those dont work either, now ik its not on my end and that its the game because im sure I’ll run into ppl saying its my connection
This is a known issue. There were attempts to fix the issue, but those attempts failed and made the issue worse.
If someone joins, leaves, or otherwise lags out the game will freeze either temporarily or permanently requiring a restart of the game.
In the post game lobby the game will freeze for a majority of players in the lobby, and most likely the host.
It is NOT your connection. The game has many broken elements that have yet to be fixed, and likely won’t be.

This is ridiculous. The game froze three times in a row. And there’s no update coming out addressing this issue.
