The game freezes when I want to change the language.
The game freezes and crashes when I want to change the language from English to another language. Default language is German! If I want to change the game from German to English, everything will work fine, but if I want to translate/change it from English back to German, then dollar signs will appear everywhere and the game freezes before I can change the language.
I can not change the languages anymore!
I need a Update (Hot-Fix) for this Problem…
I can not play Halo MCC with this Problem!
Those dollar signs are placeholders for localised content, they will appear when the associated language string isn’t available. Generally I think that should start to download automatically. Maybe try uninstalling and reinstalling the game

I was afraid that I would need to uninstall it and re-download, but a new installation is not a solution if the problem occurs again and again each time the language changes.
If the problem occurs again and again then I can not reinstall the game every time. I mean if I want to play the game in English or any other language every time and the problem reoccurs, then the developers should not offer such an option, if it always comes to this problem.
I uninstall the game
I install the game again
Change the language again and the problem reoccurs …
What good is a change of language if the problem is not solved and it therefore occurs again and again?
I do not think it’s a placeholder because all the names like:
Menu names and level names are also shown differently
I can not even recognize the names of the skulls.
I think these dollar signs is the view, as it is for the developers

If the skull has such a title, then I do not know which skull that is.
I’m reinstalling the game but it’s not a permanent solution because I can not re-install the game everytime I change language (from german to english) and want to change back (from english to german).
