When i get to the screen “press start to enter” and i press start the loading circle goes arround 4 times and freezes 100% of the time i have been trying for 2 days
The exact same thing has been happening to me and the game is literally un playable, we need a fix
Same issue. Almost immediately after I press start, the game freezes and the music keeps playing. Ive tried hard reset, deleting the game and reinstalling and nothing makes a difference and I’ve tried loading in about 12 times. I think it’s ridiculous that such a beloved and popular game is having such a prevalent issue after an update. And no news of any support or fix that I can find. Come on 343, fix your game.
I’ve had this happen a few times. I waited about 10 seconds on the screen and then pressed a button and it loaded up fine. Haven’t had an issue since.

Been a whole month and it still won’t let me play…
You guys need to delete the data from your gamertag.
Here’s how:
- Go to Settings, and then select System. - Select Storage. - Select All Devices. - Select Gamer Profiles. - Select the gamertag that you want to delete. - Select Delete Allload up MCC and it should be fine.
If you have the game installed on an external hard drive or split between internal and external try moving everything to the internal drive and try again.
